What?

A joint FIBRE - RedCLARA Webinar, to be held on the July 31st via video-conference. 

The overall duration of the Webinar is expected to be just 1h30. The primary language used will be Spanish.

Attendees must register and perform video-conferencing tests in advance, either on 26/7 or 29/7.

6 new FIBRE-BR members announced!

Prof. Antonio Abelem, FIBRE-BR coordinator, announced the inclusion of 6 new associated institutions in the FIBRE-BR testbed.

They are the Federal Universities of Espírito Santo (UFES), Uberlândia (UFU), Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Paraíba (UFPB) and Minas Gerais (UFMG).

The announcement was made during a FIBRE presentation in the annual RNP Workshop (WRNP 2013), held in Brasilia (Brazil) in May 6-7, 2013.

The new institutions are expected to sign the project MoU in the next weeks. After that, they will receive project support to setup their experimental islands.
