To start using the FIBRE Testbed, you need to ask for an account in one of the "Experimental Islands".

Each institution hosting an Experimental Island is entitled to define its own usage policy. Typically, each Island authorizes users from its own hosting institution. For instance, UFRJ authorizes only experimenters from UFRJ; UFPA authorizes only experimenters from UFPA and so on.

Alternatively, for federated experiments, you can request an account in the MySlice portal.

If your university is not hosting an Experimental Island, you should request an account to the RNP island - which is the "catch-all" for Academia.

If you are from a company or Industry, you should apply for an account to the CPqD island - which is the "catch-all" for Industry.

Choose one of the following Brazilian Island to request an account or request via MySlice portal.
